Stephen Brey

Stephen Brey is as an Administrative Law Specialist with the Corporations, Securities & Commercial Licensing Bureau within the State of Michigan’s Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs.  He graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in 2007, and from Michigan State University College of Law with a J.D. cum laude in 2010.  Steve has been a member of NASAA’s Investment Adviser Section Regulatory Policy and Review Project Group since 2016, and has been chair of the project group since 2019.  He is licensed to practice law in Michigan and Florida, and is a member of the Michigan Bar’s Business Law Section.  Outside of work, Steve enjoys traveling and watching Michigan State basketball and football with his wife Desiree.
