What is NSCP?
Since 1986, the National Society of Compliance Professionals has been the leading non-profit, membership organization dedicated to supporting compliance professionals in the financial services industry, focusing primarily on investment advisers, broker-dealers, and private funds. NSCP membership offers a wide range of compliance resources, educational opportunities, and regulatory advocacy and engagement. NSCP provides its members with essential information on compliance topics, regulatory insights, and useful tools through its monthly publication, online and in-person events, and within an interactive online community. NSCP members have access to a diverse community of compliance professionals who share their knowledge and expertise.
Where will the events be held and which airport is closest?

What are the area hotels?
NSCP has not secured a room block for these events. Attendees should make their own hotel accommodations. Below are a few hotel options:

When should I arrive for the event?
Attendees may arrive between 8:00 - 9:00 AM for on-site registration and breakfast.
What technology will I need to participate in the on-site conference?
NSCP’s conference app will be available for download to attendees’ mobile devices prior to the conference. The conference app will be used to access the conference agenda and materials, session information, participate in session polls, speaker evaluations and more.
Attendees may opt to bring fully charged laptop computers but please note that there are no charging stations or outlets available in the conference rooms.
Will there be an online version or recording of the sessions?
No, NSCP in-person events do not have a hybrid option. None of the sessions will be recorded.
What is the Cancellation Policy?
New York - Registrations for the California event are fully refundable (less a 3% processing fee) until April 8, 2025. After this date, no refunds will be issued; however, the registered attendee has the option to substitute someone else to attend in their place by April 11th. All cancellations, request for refunds, and substitution requests must be submitted to NSCP via written notification to conferences@nscp.org.
Chicago - Registrations for the New York event are fully refundable (less a 3% processing fee) until May 21, 2025. After this date, no refunds will be issued; however, the registered attendee has the option to substitute someone else to attend in their place by May 26th. All cancellations, request for refunds, and substitution requests must be submitted to NSCP via written notification to conferences@nscp.org.
What are the COVID Protocols?
NSCP will adhere to all local and state guidance at the time of the event.
How do I access the session materials?
All materials will be available for download prior to the conference and also accessible on the conference app. There is no charge for the electronic materials. Printed materials will not be available.
Continuing Education - How do I receive credits?
A Continuing Education (“CE”) Certificate of Attendance will be provided to attendees for sessions they attend. Attendance must be verified by scanning the QR code at the entry door before the start of each session. CE credit will NOT be awarded to attendees who fail to scan the QR codes before the sessions begin.
No Scan – No Credit – No Exceptions.

What methods of payment are accepted for registration fees?
Credit card, check and ACH are acceptable methods of payment. However, payment MUST be received 2 weeks prior or your pending registration will be cancelled. All checks can be mailed to the address below and must include the registrant’s name and printed invoice or sales invoice number:

What are the NSCP event policies?

Service Providers (Consulting, Technology and Law Firms) may not solicit or advertise to registrants of the NSCP Interactive Compliance Labs.
COVID-19
By registering for this event you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By attending this event, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold NSCP and any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury. NSCP will adhere to the state and facility guidelines that are in effect at the time of the conference.
Consent to Use Photographic Images
Registration and attendance at, or participation in, NSCP events authorizes an agreement by the registrant for the use and distribution of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videos, electronic reproductions and audio recordings of such events and activities by NSCP.
