Marni Gibson

MMarni Gibson has over twenty years of experience in the financial services sector and its regulation.  After spending time in the industry, she joined the Securities Division of the Kentucky Department of Financial Institutions in 2009.  While she focused much of her time on enforcement and investor protection, Marni has held leadership positions in several areas and supervised all three divisions within the agency.  Over the last fourteen years, Ms. Gibson has been named Securities Enforcement Manager, Depository Division Director, and Securities Division Director.  She currently holds the role of Deputy Commissioner and Securities Administrator.

During her time with the agency, Ms. Gibson has served on numerous national committees, project groups, and working groups across the financial services spectrum.  Marni is currently serving her second term as a member of NASAA’s Board of Directors and participates on other committees, such as Steering and Fintech.
